Any organisation reaching a diaspora audience: associations, African/diaspora e-commerce, community blogs/media, local fintechs, creators. Both legal entities and sole traders welcome.

How long does approval take?

48h on average. You receive a decision email. If approved, the email contains a link to create your partner account (valid 14 days).

My application was rejected, can I reapply?

Yes, after 3 months with a note on your traction (members, traffic, social reach). We currently prioritise partners with an active community.

Question 4

Do I need to provide KYB documents?

Accepted Answer

Yes to go live: corporate documents, representative ID, SEPA IBAN. Documents are uploaded directly from your partner dashboard.

How do I integrate Sift on my site?

Two lines of HTML pasted into your page (or CMS). The widget appears where the script is. No framework required: works on WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Shopify, Drupal, custom sites, etc.

I don’t have a website, is that OK?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sift generates a public hosted page at sift-mobile.com/p/your-slug that you share on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business, TikTok. A QR code is also generated for flyers and events.

Can I customise the look?

Yes: pick a theme (Sift green, Custom with your colours, Dark for dark sites) and set your default corridor. All via data-attributes, no code required.

Which display variants are there?

Inline (embedded in your page), floating button (opens as modal on click), or full-page (dedicated route like /topup).

Do you offer technical support?

Yes. Dedicated Slack or email channel for partners in production. Average response: 4h weekdays, 24h weekends.

How is commission calculated?

Progressive commission on Sift’s margin for each transaction coming from your integration. As your volume grows, your commission tier grows too.

When do I get paid?

Monthly SEPA transfer, on the 5th of the following month. Minimum €20 — below that, the balance rolls over to the next month.

Do you support payment methods other than SEPA?

Currently SEPA only (euro zone). If you’re outside the euro zone, contact us to discuss Wise or Stripe Connect arrangements.

Do you send me an invoice?

Yes. Each transfer comes with a detailed statement (period, conversions, gross commission) and a downloadable PDF invoice from your dashboard.

How is user data handled?

Sift is the controller — GDPR-compliant, EU servers (Supabase Frankfurt). No personal data is shared with you beyond aggregated statistics (impressions, clicks, conversions).

Question 15

Do I need to verify end-user identity?

Accepted Answer

No. Sift handles all KYC/AML compliance on the end-user side via Stripe. You’re a traffic provider, not a financial operator.

Question 16

Can I stop the partnership anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A 30-day notice is required to close out the current month’s commission cleanly. No exit penalty.
