Automatic top-up
Your loved one’s credit arrives on its own, at the pace you choose. You stay in control: pause, resume or stop in one tap.
How it works
- 1
Pick the offer
Country, your loved one’s number and amount: just like a regular top-up.
- 2
Turn on “Top up automatically”
Right before paying, choose the pace: every 15, 30 or 45 days. A Sift account is required.
- 3
Pay once
The first top-up is sent right away. The next ones are sent automatically on each due date.
What you pay, what your loved one receives
- The same offer every time: your loved one receives the same amount each time.
- The price is set on the day you turn it on and does not change. No extra fee for automatic top-up.
- Payment is taken from the card used at activation, then the top-up is sent right after.
You are notified by email
- When you turn it on, with the date of the next top-up.
- After each top-up sent.
- Each time you pause, resume or stop it.
Pause, resume, stop
- On sift-mobile.com: My account, then Automatic top-ups. In the Sift app (iPhone and Android): Account, then Automatic top-ups.
- A paused top-up is neither charged nor sent. You can stop it at any time, free of charge.
- Up to 3 active automatic top-ups per account, for example for several loved ones.
If something goes wrong
- Payment declined by the bank: nothing is sent until the payment goes through. It is retried automatically for a few days.
- Top-up that cannot be delivered (offer withdrawn by the operator, inactive number…): that payment is refunded automatically to your payment method.
On the website and in the app
- It is the same account: an automatic top-up created on the website shows up in the app, and the other way round.
- Automatic top-ups created in the old Sift app are visible in the new one, where you can pause or stop them.
